Wow!!! Thanks very much. Hoping you'll share it with others. So grateful for that feedback. I'm thinking Part II will focus on the role of comics. Thoughts?

Already broadcast. Yes, comics would be excellent. Lenny Bruce, Chappell, etc. get on it! Can’t wait!

Good piece, Herb. The constant in your tours? All were human.

Yes! Trump is the most disgraceful example of a malignant narcissist that I am aware of. Look how many republicans are tainted by him. I will be glad when he is banished from the public landscape, and we have time to regain our democratic footing after so many years of election denialism and just downright nasty behavior.

Malignant narcissism isn't limited to politics. Four years ago, philanthropist and activist Abigail Disney correctly identified Elon Musk a "toxic billionaire" and "narcissist" who has since tanked the value of 'X' (f.k.a. Twitter) by more than 70% in order to control a social media mouthpiece.

Disney referred to venture capitalist Peter Theil as a "menace". Theil is the billionaire who paved the way for J.D. Vance to become a VP candidate for the FRP (Former Republican Party) -- which is 'weird' considering Vance opposed federal protections for same-sex marriage and Theil is married to a man.

As Louis Dalrymple first noted in 1899, "Politics makes strange bedfellows." (apologies to the Bard)

On both counts, an excellent addition to the conversation. Anais Nin runs through the veins of these narcissists.
